How to Book

When your ready to book its as easy as 1, 2, 3 !

1. Select the type of course and date you wish to attend. If your not sure or can’t find one please contact us.

2. Call DSI on 1300 880 956 / 03 6437 1474 or email info@driverskills.com.au .

Please note that full payment is usually required for all private bookings. DSA accept credit card payment over the phone.

3. A confirmation email will be sent to you with details of the course location, start and finish times, what to bring, wear and all other relevant information so that you can enjoy your day.

Don’t forget that for most courses you will be using your car – so make sure its registered, road worthy, has at least half a tank of fuel and has no loose objects floating around inside.

Payments

Accounts are available for corporate customers. Please contact info@driverskills.com.au to apply for an account. All other bookings must be paid for before the course will be confirmed.

Payments accepted include Master/Bank and Visa card over the phone, cheque, money order or direct deposit. All prices quoted on this website are in $AUS and include GST. A tax invoice will be provided for every transaction.

Young Drivers (u18 and L Plates)

Defensive driver training is very valuable to young drivers as it allows these drivers to experience a few things that may just make them safer on the road.

Conditions that apply to young and L plate drivers

To keep things safe – Driver Skills International has implemented the following conditons for young drivers:

Any driver under the age of 18 must be accompanied with a parent or guardian.

Any Learner driver must be accompanied by a fully licenced driver. This driver must also pay for the course and therefor can participate. Two drivers can share one vehicle.

FAQ

Will a DSA course damage my car?

Simple answer is no it shouldn’t. All driving done in our courses is similar to what you would experience during your every day driving. The roads are wet to avoid tyre damage and the chosen areas are free of obstacles and hazards.

What about Insurance?

DSA have relevant Public Liability insurance policies for all services provided. It is however your responsibility and duty of care to look after yourself and alert a DSA staff member of any thing you believe is unsafe.

Please check with your insurance company about attending these courses but do note that in over 10 years, there has never been no major accidents or crashes at a DSA course leading to a claim. This is after all – a road safety company and we put safety first at all times.

I am nervous or… I am an expert already!

We will confidently say that every driver that has ever attended our courses has gained more knowledge then they expected.

The course is designed to be simple to understand and easy to follow. We don’t know everything and don’t pretend too! We are constantly learning even after delivering this training for many years. We are confident that you will have a great day and learn some things along the way, no matter what your experience level is.

Certificate reprints

DSA can reprint your certificate or issue a letter outlining the course details if you lose your original. There is an administration fee. Please call the office for details.

Appeals and complaints

DSA comply with strict guidelines set by the AQTF and have a formal appeals and complaints process. For more information of if you wish to make an appeal or complaint regarding DSA training please contact the DSA office.

Refunds – please read carefully

Things happen! If for any reason a course is cancelled by DSA – a full refund will be available.

If you need to cancel – we do have a cancellation fee depending on the time frame to the booking.

Any cancellations with less then 7 days notice will not be refunded. If you fail to turn up on the day or cancel within 7 days you may rebook – however a $100 rebooking fee will be charged.

Any change to a booking within 7 days will also incur the rebooking fee.

If you turn up – but fail to complete the course due to illness, vehicle problem or other reason you can rebook on another course date for $100.

Please note – NO REFUNDS are available on courses for no-shows or late cancellations (within 7 days).

Vouchers are not refundable, however they may be transferred to another driver as long as it is before the expiry of the voucher. Use of the voucher past the expiry date may be permitted under our extension of voucher offer (fee applies).
